Snapfire + Warlock

Why this works

Picking these two together feels like a bet on landing one perfect teamfight combo. Warlock’s massive area-of-effect spells like Chaotic Offering and Fatal Bonds need enemies to be grouped and held in place. Snapfire, in theory, provides the perfect setup for this. A well-placed Firesnap Cookie can deliver a target for the Golem’s impact stun, while Mortimer Kisses layers on even more slowing and damage over a huge area. The combination aims to lock down and melt an entire enemy team at once.

The problem is that both heroes are heavily reliant on these long-cooldown ultimates. If the fight doesn't go exactly as planned, or if one of them is on cooldown, their combined impact drops sharply. Between these big moments, the lane can feel vulnerable and lack kill threat against mobile opponents. Enemies will try to exploit these cooldown windows, forcing fights when Snapfire or Warlock can't contribute their best spells. This makes their success feel very timing-dependent and less consistent than other pairings.
