Spirit Breaker + Treant Protector

Why this works

Thinking of this as a simple gank combo is a common trap. While Spirit Breaker's Charge of Darkness does set up a target, the real value is in the global vision it provides. This lets Treant Protector position himself ahead of time, preparing to layer Nature's Grasp or Overgrowth on the impact point. Treant can also apply Living Armor to Spirit Breaker mid-charge, giving him a bit more durability when he arrives. The idea is to create a more controlled engagement rather than a simple burst-down, using the global presence of both heroes to create pressure.

In practice, this coordination can be clumsy. Treant Protector is not a mobile hero, so he might not be in range to follow up even with the advance warning from a charge. The success of the gank often depends on Spirit Breaker catching someone near Treant's preferred forested areas. Later on, Spirit Breaker benefits from Treant's teamfight control, but this isn't a unique interaction; any initiator appreciates an Overgrowth. The pairing creates opportunities, but it doesn't guarantee fight wins on its own.
