Why this works

Picking Troll Warlord often means worrying about enemies kiting you or disengaging from your Battle Trance. Techies solves this problem directly. The slow from Sticky Bomb is a simple but effective way to keep targets in range, while a well-timed Blast Off! provides a long silence that prevents enemies from using escape spells or items. This allows Troll to build Fervor stacks without interruption. When two cores try to trade hits, Techies can use Reactive Tazer to disarm the enemy carry, ensuring Troll Warlord wins the exchange and takes control of the fight.

This synergy comes online early and scales well into the late game. A common pattern is Techies jumping in with Blast Off!, silencing a priority hero for Troll Warlord to lock down with his ultimate. This forces the enemy team into a terrible choice: try to save a silenced ally who is being rapidly torn apart, or abandon them and lose the fight anyway. To beat this, opponents have to be proactive, either by securing an early Black King Bar or by catching one of the heroes out of position before they can coordinate their powerful combination.
