Templar Assassin + Tiny

Why this works

Fighting for the same farm holds this combination back. Both Templar Assassin and Tiny are tempo cores who want to accelerate by clearing ancient stacks and jungle camps near mid. Since they both need that gold to hit their first major item timing, one is always playing from behind. They also offer a similar kind of physical burst, so the draft lacks variety and gives you less to work with. While Tiny’s Toss can set up a kill, it often puts the target in a spot where Templar Assassin can't easily follow up with Meld or get multiple Psi Blades spills.

The game often feels like a race where you never get ahead. If the enemy applies early pressure, it's hard to make space for both cores to recover. You're forced to either group up before either hero is truly ready or concede huge parts of the map. The opponent can usually identify which of the two is having a better game and focus on shutting that one down, knowing the other is already struggling. This leaves your team with two half-farmed cores trying to execute a single game plan against a team that’s more flexible.
