Tidehunter + Troll Warlord

Why this works

Setting up a teamfight with Ravage gives Troll Warlord a perfect window to do his job. He wants enemies held in place so he can build Fervor stacks and hit his maximum attack speed, and a massive area-of-effect stun is the most reliable way to guarantee that. Tidehunter provides that ideal lockdown. Gush also helps Troll stick to a key target after the initial stun wears off, with the armor reduction making his physical damage even more effective. Essentially, Tidehunter creates a stationary killing field, and Troll is one of the best carries at cleaning it up.

The game plan is straightforward. The duo plays around the Ravage cooldown, looking to force fights at objectives where the enemy team has to commit. Tidehunter presses his ultimate, and Troll Warlord can safely activate Battle Trance knowing his primary targets are stunned and helpless. The main weakness is predictability; opponents know what's coming and will try to split the map, disengage, or fight when Ravage is unavailable. This makes the pairing solid and reliable, but it doesn't create advantages out of nowhere if the core timing is misplayed.
