Ursa + Warlock

Why this works

Connecting Fatal Bonds on a group before Ursa jumps in seems like a great setup. As Ursa unloads his Overpower attacks on one hero, the linked targets all take a portion of that burst damage. This can soften up a whole team and amplify the impact of his single-target focus. Warlock’s Chaotic Offering can also provide the initial stun for Ursa to get on top of his primary target and start building Fury Swipes stacks. The theory is solid, letting Ursa contribute to teamfight damage beyond the one person he is hitting.

In practice, though, their timings and needs don't always align perfectly. Ursa wants to fight constantly once he has his core items, but Warlock's ultimate has a very long cooldown. Outside of that big teamfight window, Warlock doesn't offer the consistent lockdown or mobility that Ursa often needs to secure kills on his own. Upheaval is a powerful slow, but it requires Warlock to channel, making it difficult to use aggressively while keeping up with a charging Ursa. The result is a pairing that has one powerful combination but can feel awkward between those big moments.
