Paradox, Pocket, and Mirage all want to dart in, land their combo, and reset, but Royal Pestments lets him shrug off that opening burst and stay in the fight while they burn cooldowns. Swarm of Rats keeps chipping them while they try to disengage, and Scrap Grenade punishes anyone hugging cover in a lane. He has no glaring hard counter, so the risk is less about who's across from you and more about committing Banner of Rattania at the wrong moment. Draft tip: pick him when the enemy relies on in-and-out burst assassins.
