Underlord vs Lifestealer

How this matchup plays

A massive health pool is usually Underlord's core strength, but against Lifestealer it becomes a huge liability. Underlord's primary control spells, Pit of Malice and Firestorm, are magical, making them completely ineffective against a Raging Lifestealer. This allows LS to walk right up to him and start attacking. As they trade hits, Feast drains Underlord's large HP, healing Lifestealer and making him nearly impossible to out-sustain. Underlord essentially becomes a walking health potion.

Throughout the game, this means Underlord can't safely frontline or hold his ground. Lifestealer can initiate on him without fear, forcing him out of position or killing him outright. To survive, Underlord must rely on teammates with physical disables or build items like a Heaven's Halberd to disarm Lifestealer through Rage. Lifestealer, on the other hand, will often prioritize Underlord as his first target in a fight, knowing he's a reliable source of healing before moving on to other heroes.
