Alchemist vs Arc Warden

How this matchup plays

Fighting into an Arc Warden often comes down to dealing with Magnetic Field. Alchemist wants to get on top of a target with Unstable Concoction and melt them with physical attacks, but the evasion from that field can completely negate his damage output from the outside. Acid Spray helps reduce armor, but it's not effective if the attacks themselves aren't landing. Arc Warden can also use Flux to slow a charging Alchemist, making it even harder to close the distance. The core of the matchup is whether Alchemist can force a fight inside the bubble or find a way to disable it.

Both heroes are defined by their farm-heavy timings. Alchemist uses Greevil's Greed to accelerate his item progression, while Arc Warden uses Tempest Double to farm multiple areas of the map simultaneously. When Alchemist hits his item peak, he'll try to hunt Arc Warden down. Success here depends entirely on execution. If Alchemist can find the real Arc Warden and land his stun from surprise, he can often secure the kill. If Arc Warden anticipates the gank, he can use his clone to scout, kite with spells, and drop Magnetic Field to survive the initial burst, turning the fight around.
