Alchemist vs Ember Spirit

How this matchup plays

Alchemist's accelerated farm creates a timer that Ember Spirit has to play against. Because Greevil's Greed guarantees Alchemist will get his core items ahead of the curve, the Ember player is forced into an aggressive posture. He can’t afford to trade farm and must use his early-game mobility to create kills around the map, hoping to build a lead for his team before Alchemist comes online. A passive lane against Alchemist is almost always a losing strategy for Ember, as he will be out-scaled by gold alone.

The actual fights between them hinge on a single interaction. A well-timed Unstable Concoction from Alchemist can lock Ember Spirit down long enough for a kill, preventing him from using Sleight of Fist or his Fire Remnants to escape. Conversely, a skilled Ember can use Sleight of Fist to dodge the stun projectile completely, leaving Alchemist vulnerable. Later in the game, Alchemist’s raw regeneration from Chemical Rage makes him incredibly difficult for Ember to burst down, while Acid Spray's armor reduction makes Ember very fragile. This creates a matchup that really depends on execution and timing from both players.
