Alchemist vs Juggernaut

How this matchup plays

Dealing with Juggernaut's aggression is tricky for Alchemist. Blade Fury allows Juggernaut to purge off the armor reduction from Acid Spray and avoid the Unstable Concoction stun, which are Alchemist's primary tools for fighting early on. This makes it hard for Alchemist to secure kills or win trades. Later in the game, Juggernaut's Omnislash provides a burst of physical damage that can often be enough to slice through the massive health regeneration from Chemical Rage, especially if Alchemist gets caught alone without defensive items or help from his teammates.

This creates a clear timing window for Juggernaut to exploit. His goal is to be active in the mid-game, hunting for kills and disrupting Alchemist's farm before he gets out of control. Alchemist's plan is to survive this pressure, using the gold from Greevil's Greed to quickly build items that make him too tanky for Omnislash to handle alone, like an Assault Cuirass or even a Ghost Scepter. If Alchemist can dodge Juggernaut's peak and get his core items up, he can often turn the tables.
