Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Lifestealer wins the Alchemist vs Lifestealer matchup: Lifestealer beats Alchemist in 54.96% of 23,073 ranked matches.
Thinking you can man-fight Lifestealer because you have a huge item lead feels like a natural Alchemist play. The issue is that Lifestealer's core design punishes exactly that. A massive health pool from Chemical Rage simply makes a better target for Feast, allowing Lifestealer to deal more damage and heal for more the tankier Alchemist gets. If Alchemist tries to lock him down with Unstable Concoction, Lifestealer can often purge the stun away with Rage and keep fighting. The usual advantage of being the richest hero on the map doesn't mean as much when your opponent's main damage source scales with your own survivability.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
