Alchemist vs Venomancer

How this matchup plays

Activating Chemical Rage gives Alchemist enough health regeneration to shrug off most of Venomancer's damage over time. While the slows from abilities like Venomous Gale are still a problem, the actual health loss from Poison Nova becomes much less threatening. Alchemist can often survive the full duration of Veno's ultimate and simply walk away, having regenerated a huge chunk of the damage dealt. This forces Venomancer's team to commit significant burst damage or chain stuns to have any hope of killing a high-level Alchemist, as the poison alone is not enough.

This dynamic means Alchemist can focus on his own farming patterns without being completely zoned out. Early on, Veno’s constant lane pressure can be annoying, but once Alchemist gets a few levels in his ultimate, he can use it to sustain and continue farming jungle camps or pushing lanes. While Venomancer wants to group up and apply pressure, Alchemist is usually happy to split off and accelerate his own net worth. If Alch gets a good start, he can out-farm the pressure and eventually become too tanky for Venomancer to handle.
