Venomancer (Veno) Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Venomancer (Veno) in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Venomancer, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Venomancer is a damage-over-time support/core whose Venomous Gale, Poison Sting, and Plague Wards apply relentless poison and zone fights. He's strong into immobile, low-sustain heroes his DoT grinds: Gyrocopter, Timbersaw and Mars get poisoned down. Venomancer is countered by illusions and burst that beat his ticking damage: Phantom Lancer drowns his single target in clones, while Spectre, Legion Commander and Slark out-scale or burst him. Draft tip: Venomancer is a strong zone-control and slow support into grouped, low-sustain drafts; he's weaker into illusion comps and high-sustain hard-carries.
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Venomancer hardest are Phantom Lancer, Legion Commander and Juggernaut — Venomancer wins only 42.5%, 43.1% and 44.3% of ranked matches against them.
