Alchemist vs Windranger

How this matchup plays

Dealing with Windrun is the central problem for Alchemist in this matchup. The evasion from that spell completely negates his physical damage, forcing him to build an MKB and often delaying his core item timings. Before he gets that item, fighting Windranger is very risky. However, Alchemist’s Acid Spray provides consistent magic damage and armor reduction that works regardless of evasion, making her vulnerable if she gets caught. His Unstable Concoction is also a reliable lockdown if he can get close enough to land it.

The game then becomes a race against the clock. Alchemist uses Greevil's Greed to accelerate his farm and get the items he needs to fight, while Windranger uses her mobility and Shackleshot to create pressure across the map before he becomes a major threat. A well-placed Shackle can interrupt Alchemist's Concoction or pin him down during Chemical Rage for an easy kill. Ultimately, the fight can go either way depending on whether Windranger can find those key pickoffs or if Alchemist can successfully convert his farm advantage into objectives before she can stop him.
