Trying to lock down an area with Jakiro's spells often feels like the right play against a hero who wants to stand still, but it's rarely that simple. Arc Warden's Tempest Double creates a second threat that a slow hero like Jakiro struggles to manage. More importantly, Arc Warden can place Magnetic Field to protect himself or a tower. The evasion it provides can cause Jakiro's physical attack to miss, preventing the application of Liquid Fire and neutralizing a major source of his sustained damage and pressure.

This dynamic lets Arc Warden dictate the game's tempo. Once he has his ultimate, he can use the clone to push a lane on the opposite side of the map. Jakiro is a poor choice to send as a response; he lacks the mobility to get there quickly and is forced to use long-cooldown spells to clear a temporary unit.
