Arc Warden vs Lina

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down Arc Warden is a frustrating experience for Lina. Her entire kit is built around stunning and deleting a single target, but Arc Warden has multiple ways to disrupt this. He can play from extreme range using his Tempest Double, denying Lina a primary target. If she does commit on the real hero, Magnetic Field provides evasion against her right-clicks after the spell combo. Spark Wraiths also give him vision and a slow, making it difficult for Lina to get a clean initiation in the first place without taking damage herself.

This dynamic means Arc Warden can often dictate the pace of the mid-game. He is content to split-push and farm safely with his double, setting up defensive zones that are dangerous for a fragile hero like Lina to walk into. Lina's best response is to get an item like a Black King Bar or a Blink Dagger to try and find and kill the real Arc Warden before he gets out of control. The game often hinges on whether Lina can successfully execute these ganks, but Arc's defensive tools give him a consistent, if small, advantage.
