Picking Arc Warden into an enemy Night Stalker means you have to be ready for a difficult first night. Night Stalker is designed to run at a backliner and prevent them from reacting, which is exactly what Arc Warden struggles with. The silence from Crippling Fear is the main problem, as it shuts down Magnetic Field and any escape items you might have. Combined with the movement speed Night Stalker gets from Hunter in the Night, it becomes very difficult for an isolated Arc Warden to reposition or fight back once he gets jumped.

The matchup often hinges on surviving those early ganks. Night Stalker wants to repeatedly find the real Arc Warden to create an advantage for his team. Your goal as Arc Warden is to play safe, keep vision up, and use the Tempest Double to farm aggressively from the safety of your base. If you can get through his early power spikes without feeding, you can start to take over the map with split-pushing and provide huge teamfight damage from a distance. The slight pressure comes from Night Stalker trying to deny you that space to get farmed.
