Arc Warden vs Silencer

How this matchup plays

Fighting inside a Magnetic Field as Silencer can be tricky. The evasion it provides makes his attacks miss, and while Glaives of Wisdom adds pure damage, the attack itself still has to connect. This forces Silencer to rely more on his spells. On the other hand, Silencer has perfect tools to deal with Arc Warden. Arcane Curse punishes the constant, low-cooldown spellcasting from Arc and his Tempest Double. More importantly, Global Silence is a clean answer to stop Arc Warden from casting spells or using items during a gank, often preventing the Double from even being summoned.

The matchup becomes a game of cat and mouse across the map. Arc Warden wants to split-push and farm with his illusion, forcing reactions. A well-timed Global Silence can secure a kill on the real hero before he can defend himself or escape. If Arc Warden can bait out the silence or gets his spells off first, he can kite and control fights from the safety of his Field. This back-and-forth starts in the lane, where Silencer's harass is annoying but Arc Warden can still secure farm with Spark Wraiths. It’s a standoff where both heroes can play their game if they are careful.
