Farming safely is a nightmare for Arc Warden in this matchup. Spirit Breaker's entire kit is designed to punish stationary, split-pushing heroes. Charge of Darkness provides global vision and a guaranteed gap-closer onto either the main hero or the Tempest Double. Once he arrives, Magnetic Field offers little protection; Spirit Breaker can stun-lock Arc Warden through it with his Charge and Nether Strike. Arc Warden lacks the mobility to escape once he's caught, making him an easy kill.

This dynamic dictates the pace of the whole game. Spirit Breaker applies constant pressure from the early minutes, preventing Arc Warden from getting the solo farm he needs to hit his item timings. Arc is forced to play much more defensively and group with his team, which cripples his economic potential.
