Thinking Treant Protector can easily lock down and kill Arc Warden is a common trap. While a well-timed Overgrowth on the real hero can be devastating, a smart Arc Warden rarely puts himself in that position. Instead, he uses the Tempest Double to farm and fight from a safe distance, forcing Treant to react to split-push pressure. Magnetic Field can also completely negate Treant's physical threat inside a key area during a teamfight. However, Treant Protector isn't helpless. Living Armor provides global damage mitigation that can frustrate Arc Warden's attempts to burst down a target, and his ability to keep towers healthy slows the game down.
