Axe vs Enchantress

How this matchup plays

Shutting down Enchantress's farm and map control is the core of this matchup. Her entire game plan revolves around kiting and being hard to kill with Untouchable's attack slow, but Axe's kit invalidates that strategy. Berserker's Call forces her to attack him, which is exactly what he wants to trigger Counter Helix spins. The pure damage from Helix slices right through her defenses, and she lacks the health pool to withstand it. Once she's low, Culling Blade provides a guaranteed kill that her Nature's Attendants heal can't prevent.

This dynamic forces Enchantress to play from a huge deficit all game. After the laning stage, Axe getting a Blink Dagger becomes a constant threat that zones her out of fights and farming spots. Her best bet is to build defensive items like a Force Staff and hope her team can save her, but this delays her damage and makes her less of a threat. Axe can comfortably dictate the pace, jumping her to start fights his team can easily win or simply using the threat of his initiation to take objectives while she's forced to hide.
