Axe Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Axe in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Axe, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Axe is a tanky initiator who forces fights with Berserker's Call and executes with Culling Blade. He dominates illusion and blink-reliant heroes — his top matchups are the likes of Nature's Prophet, Terrorblade and Morphling, all of whom get Called out of their escape or illusions. Axe struggles into heroes that out-sustain his damage or punish him for diving: Spectre scales past him and reflects damage with Dispersion, while Lifestealer and Wraith King simply out-tank a single Call. Draft tip: Axe is a premium pick into mobile, squishy cores — but think twice into Spectre or hard-carry line-ups he can't burst down before they out-scale him.
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Axe hardest are Wraith King, Spectre and Lifestealer — Axe wins only 44.7%, 45.2% and 45.3% of ranked matches against them.
