Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Shadow Shaman wins the Batrider vs Shadow Shaman matchup: Shadow Shaman beats Batrider in 57.29% of 7,010 ranked matches.
A successful jump with Flaming Lasso often ends before it begins. Shadow Shaman has two different ways to instantly break the channel, either with Hex or Shackles, leaving Batrider dangerously exposed in the middle of the enemy team. This forces Batrider to either buy a Black King Bar much earlier than preferred or avoid initiating altogether if Shaman is present. Even during the lane, Shaman's instant disables make it hard to build up Sticky Napalm stacks for a kill attempt. He can consistently interrupt your aggression, control the pace of the lane, and then use Mass Serpent Ward to pressure your tower.
