Beastmaster vs Chen

How this matchup plays

Competing for early map control with summons often puts Beastmaster at a slight disadvantage. While both heroes want to build an army and pressure objectives, Chen's ability to convert powerful neutral creeps gives him a force that can often overwhelm Beastmaster's boar in the early skirmishes. This lets Chen dictate the pace of the push, forcing reactions rather than initiating his own moves. A well-timed Hand of God can also sustain Chen's army and teammates through a fight or tower push, something Beastmaster has no direct answer for. The game isn't unplayable, as a good Primal Roar on Chen is always a fight-winner, but Chen generally has the stronger tools for winning the direct army-versus-army confrontation.
