Beastmaster vs Faceless Void

How this matchup plays

Teamfights against a Faceless Void often neutralize Beastmaster's strengths. Chronosphere freezes his entire summoned army, making his boars and other units useless for the duration. If Beastmaster himself gets caught, he can't use Primal Roar to stun or push Void away. While the Roar is a great tool to lock Void down, a quick Time Walk can dodge the projectile, making initiation unreliable. This core interaction means Beastmaster's biggest teamfight contributions can be completely nullified by a single spell.

The game then becomes a contest of timings. Beastmaster has to use his early lane dominance and vision from Hawks to build a commanding lead, taking objectives before Faceless Void gets his key items. The goal is to suffocate Void and end the game quickly. In response, Void's team simply needs to endure the early pressure and stall. Once Void is farmed, a single well-placed Chronosphere can turn a fight, undoing the early advantage Beastmaster worked to create and securing the late game.
