Beastmaster vs Nature's Prophet

How this matchup plays

Picking a global split-pusher into Beastmaster often feels like a mistake from the draft screen. Both heroes want to control the map and take towers, but Beastmaster does it better when they're on opposite sides. The hawk from Call of the Wild provides constant flying vision, making it extremely difficult for Nature's Prophet to hide in trees and find openings to split-push. Once he's spotted, Primal Roar is an instant, long-range stun that sets up an easy kill. Beastmaster’s summons, backed by his attack speed aura, also let his team demolish buildings much faster than Prophet's Treants can.

This dynamic forces Nature's Prophet into a reactive and dangerous game. As Beastmaster groups his team to push a lane, Prophet is faced with a choice: show up to a fight where Beastmaster's kit is stronger, or try to trade towers and risk getting picked off alone. Beastmaster's plan is simple and effective—use the hawk to scout, find Prophet, and then either kill him with Roar or take an objective on the other side of the map with no fear of a trade. Prophet is consistently denied the space he needs to be effective.
