How this matchup plays

Controlling the map with summons is the core of Beastmaster’s game plan, but that strategy runs straight into what Night Stalker does best. Once the first night hits, Night Stalker gains superior vision and movement, allowing him to easily hunt down Beastmaster's Hawks and Boars. Losing this vision and map pressure slows Beastmaster's farm and makes it much harder for his team to play aggressively or secure objectives. A well-timed Crippling Fear during a gank also prevents Beastmaster from using Primal Roar to turn the fight, creating a clean kill opportunity.

This dynamic forces Beastmaster to play on a strict timer. He has to accomplish as much as possible during the day, because his influence shrinks significantly at night. A smart Beastmaster will adjust by keeping his summons closer to his team for defensive scouting rather than deep offensive vision. Night Stalker still has to respect the threat of a Primal Roar in a five-on-five fight, so the advantage is subtle. It’s less about shutting Beastmaster down completely and more about consistently disrupting his rhythm, which can be enough to give Night Stalker's team a persistent edge.
