Beastmaster vs Silencer

How this matchup plays

Trying to start a fight as Beastmaster feels awful against a good Silencer. A well-timed Last Word can stop Primal Roar before it even lands, completely ruining a gank attempt. Even if the Roar connects, Silencer can immediately use Global Silence to prevent any and all followup from Beastmaster's team, leaving the target stunned but safe. This turns Beastmaster's primary initiation tool into a liability, as he is often left out of position after a failed attempt. Arcane Curse also punishes the repeated use of Call of the Wild, making his general map presence more costly.

This dynamic shapes the whole game. Beastmaster's mid-game plan relies on creating pickoffs with his ultimate to build momentum, but that timing is completely dictated by Global Silence's cooldown. Silencer essentially holds the key to when and where Beastmaster is allowed to play his game. If Beastmaster can't build a lead during the windows when Global is down, his impact fades. Later on, Silencer's team can group with confidence, knowing their ultimate provides a perfect answer to Beastmaster’s main contribution to a fight.
