Beastmaster vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Committing to a Beastmaster pick means you have to plan for a potential Snapfire response. The core of Beastmaster’s game plan is overwhelming opponents with summons, but Snapfire’s kit is practically designed to clear them. Scatterblast handles the zoo in lane and early fights, while Mortimer Kisses deletes them from long range later. Without his army to provide vision, damage, and slows, Beastmaster is left stranded and his contribution to fights is significantly diminished. This fundamental mismatch makes it difficult for him to establish the map control he needs.

As the game progresses, Beastmaster finds his options very limited. Trying to group and pressure objectives is easily stalled by Snapfire’s ultimate, which clears both the creep wave and his summons from a safe distance. Even setting up a kill with Primal Roar can be undone by a well-timed Firesnap Cookie. To succeed, the Beastmaster’s team has to find a way to jump on Snapfire and burst her down before she can get her spells off, a task made harder when his own summons can't scout her position effectively.
