Beastmaster vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Dealing with Beastmaster's zoo is often a major problem, but Tiny's Tree Grab provides a natural answer with its cleave damage, allowing him to clear out boars and other summons without getting overwhelmed. On the other hand, Beastmaster holds the single best tool for controlling a farmed Tiny: Primal Roar. A BKB-piercing stun is the ideal way to lock down a spell-immune core, giving your team the window needed to bring him down before he can Toss anyone or start hitting buildings. Each hero has the perfect counter for the other's primary game plan.

This matchup often becomes a race. Both Beastmaster and Tiny want to group up with their teams in the mid-game and destroy objectives, and they're both exceptionally good at it. The deciding factor is usually initiation and vision control. Beastmaster wants to use his Hawk to find an isolated Tiny, Roar him from off-screen, and secure a pick before a real fight can start. Tiny looks to do the same, blinking in to explode a key target with his combo. Success comes down to which team better enables their hero to get the jump first.
