Beastmaster vs Vengeful Spirit

How this matchup plays

Thinking you can get a simple pick-off with Primal Roar is the main mistake against Vengeful Spirit. Her entire kit seems designed to ruin Beastmaster's day. The moment Beastmaster stuns a target, Vengeful Spirit can use Nether Swap to pull them to safety, completely wasting his long cooldown. This leaves his whole army with nothing to attack and puts him in an awful position. On top of that, her Wave of Terror grants vision to spot his scouting Hawk and reduces the armor on his Boar, making his summons easy to clear out before they can do much damage.

This dynamic makes mid-game ganks incredibly risky for Beastmaster. Every time he tries to initiate, he has to worry about Vengeful Spirit turning the play around and leaving him overextended. He’s forced to either hold his ultimate until after a fight has already started, or try to catch Venge herself, which is often difficult. Without the ability to reliably start fights on his terms, Beastmaster struggles to create the space and pressure he needs to control the map. His tower push gets weaker because his units die faster, and his teamfight impact shrinks significantly.
