Bloodseeker vs Magnus

How this matchup plays

Choosing Magnus into a Bloodseeker requires a complete change in game plan. Magnus is built around controlled repositioning, using Skewer to line up Reverse Polarity and then to escape. Bloodseeker's Rupture turns that core mobility into a self-destruct button, forcing Magnus to either take huge damage or stand still and die. A well-timed Bloodrite can also silence Magnus right as he tries to blink in, completely shutting down his initiation before it even happens. Bloodseeker has the perfect tools to dismantle the way Magnus wants to play a teamfight.

This dynamic puts the Magnus player on defense for most of the game. Instead of dictating the tempo with his ultimate, he's constantly worried about getting caught by Rupture. This often forces him to buy a Black King Bar much earlier than he'd like, just to be able to perform his basic function. Bloodseeker can afford to be patient, holding his ultimate specifically for Magnus. Even after a trade, the vision from Thirst makes it incredibly hard for a low-health Magnus to retreat, turning a successful combo into a likely death.
