Bounty Hunter vs Doom

How this matchup plays

Trying to set up a teamfight as Doom often involves blinking from an unseen angle to land a perfect ultimate. Bounty Hunter's entire game plan can disrupt this. Keeping Track on Doom reveals his position to the whole team, making it extremely difficult for him to find a clean initiation. Instead of being a terrifying surprise, he becomes a highlighted target, often getting collapsed on before he can even get his spell off. This vision control makes it much safer to pressure towers or take objectives, as the primary initiation threat is neutralized.

As the game develops, this forces the Doom player into an awkward spot. He either has to buy his own invisibility to try and sneak around the vision, or he must play reactively with his team, which isn't his strength. The Bounty Hunter can focus on keeping Doom lit up, which allows his cores to farm more aggressively and split the map. It’s not a guaranteed win, since a well-played Doom can still catch Bounty Hunter out and delete him first. However, the information advantage Bounty Hunter provides is a constant thorn in Doom's side.
