Bounty Hunter vs Invoker

How this matchup plays

Playing against an active Bounty Hunter puts a constant drain on your team's resources and map control. His ability to apply Track makes Invoker's life especially difficult, as it reveals him and nullifies Ghost Walk as a reliable escape. This persistent threat of being seen and ganked forces Invoker to play much more defensively, slowing down the farm he needs to come online. A successful gank on Invoker not only sets him back, but the bonus gold from Track accelerates Bounty Hunter's team, creating a tempo advantage.

Throughout the mid-game, this forces the Invoker to either stay grouped with his team or spend heavily on Sentry Wards to farm safely, restricting his ability to split-push. While Bounty Hunter needs to respect Invoker's burst potential from combos like Cold Snap into other spells, the pressure is generally on the Invoker to react perfectly to being jumped. The burden of staying alive falls on him, which slightly tilts the dynamic in Bounty Hunter’s favor by forcing Invoker off his preferred game plan.
