How this matchup plays

Hunting for a support like Lion is a high-risk, high-reward situation for Bounty Hunter. On one hand, Lion is squishy and often out of position, making him a prime target for a Shadow Walk gank and a quick burst. A successful Track kill on him early can cripple his game. On the other hand, if Lion sees the gank coming, he has some of the best tools to turn it around. A well-timed Earth Spike or Hex can completely immobilize Bounty Hunter, leaving him exposed and easily killed by a teammate or a Finger of Death.
