Lion Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Lion in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Lion, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Lion is a premier disabler/nuker support: a long Hex, a chain Earth Spike stun, mana drain, and Finger of Death to execute. He's strong into immobile, squishy heroes his combo locks and kills: Timbersaw, Nature's Prophet and Tinker all get chain-disabled and Fingered. Lion is countered by heroes that ignore single-target control or out-scale: Spectre and Wraith King survive his burst, while Tidehunter brings too much AoE for one Hex to matter. Draft tip: Lion is elite value into single-target-vulnerable drafts; pair with another disable into illusion/summon comps where one lockdown isn't enough.
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Lion hardest are Wraith King, Spectre and Dragon Knight — Lion wins only 41.8%, 44.1% and 44.3% of ranked matches against them.
