Bounty Hunter vs Phantom Assassin

How this matchup plays

Trying to slip away after a kill as Phantom Assassin becomes a real problem against a Bounty Hunter. Her entire game plan relies on Blur to stay elusive and survive between bursts, but Track completely negates that. The reveal makes her a clear, glowing target for everyone on the enemy team, turning her from a slippery assassin into a straightforward hero to focus down. The vision from Track also means she can't easily escape with Phantom Strike into the fog or trees, making her much easier to chase and finish off.

This dynamic shapes the entire match. Bounty Hunter can disrupt Phantom Assassin's farm early and apply pressure across the map. In teamfights, everything hinges on timing. If Bounty Hunter's team can get a Track on PA before she commits, they can usually coordinate to kill her before she does too much damage. However, if a well-farmed Phantom Assassin gets the jump first, she can often delete a key hero—including Bounty Hunter—and then the fight swings her way. It comes down to which team positions better to either exploit the reveal or get the initial burst.
