Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Legion Commander wins the Brewmaster vs Legion Commander matchup: Legion Commander beats Brewmaster in 53.91% of 11,863 ranked matches.
Picking Legion Commander into a known Brewmaster often feels like a deliberate counter, and the core reason is Duel. A well-timed Duel can completely bypass Primal Split, killing Brewmaster before he has a chance to transform and become a problem. Even if he does manage to split, Legion Commander can often ignore him, find a Duel on a more valuable support, and leave the pandas to be kited. Worse for Brewmaster, all his spirit pandas count as units for Overwhelming Odds, giving Legion a massive speed and damage boost in the middle of his big spell. This turns Brewmaster's ultimate from a teamfight-winning tool into a liability he can't afford.
