Kicking Bristleback with Boulder Smash seems like the perfect answer, but it's rarely that simple. A single kick can turn him around, exposing his vulnerable front to your team. The issue is that Bristleback is usually durable enough to survive this brief window, turn back around, and either escape or keep fighting. Earth Spirit only gets one chance with his kick for a while, whereas Bristleback is a constant stream of quills and slows. This creates a dynamic where a single, high-cooldown ability is pitted against sustained, tanky pressure.

The result is a standoff that hinges entirely on team coordination. A well-timed kick from Earth Spirit can set up an easy kill if his allies are ready with stuns and burst damage. A poorly timed one might kick Bristleback to safety or into your own backline.
