Broodmother vs Nature's Prophet

How this matchup plays

Thinking you can fight spiders with trees is a big mistake in this matchup. Nature's Prophet's Treants are little more than a food source for Broodmother, as each one can spawn a new batch of spiderlings that quickly overwhelm the lane. Prophet has no effective way to clear the growing swarm. His primary escape, Teleportation, has a channel time that is easily interrupted by a single spider bite, making him a sitting duck. He can't outrun her in her webs and he can't fight her head-on, leaving him completely exposed once she decides to attack.

This pressure forces Nature's Prophet to abandon his own game plan. Instead of pushing lanes and creating opportunities, he’s stuck reacting to Broodmother's constant siege on his side of the map. She does his job of pressuring towers, but better and faster, while also being able to kill him if he tries to defend. He can't join fights or farm freely because Broodmother has taken over his territory. He is effectively neutralized, unable to contribute while his own base is under threat.
