Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.

Popping Spiked Carapace against Broodmother can feel like a gamble. If timed perfectly, it stuns her as she tries to finish you. More often, though, a random spiderling will attack first, triggering the stun on a disposable unit and wasting the cooldown. This makes it hard for Nyx Assassin to reliably lock her down. On the other hand, Nyx excels at punishing heroes caught away from their team or army. A well-timed gank out of Vendetta with Mana Burn can be enough to kill a Broodmother who overextends. It really comes down to whether Nyx can find a clean opening or if Broodmother's map control and swarm of spiders deny him the chance.
