Broodmother vs Ogre Magi

How this matchup plays

Slowing down a pack of spiders with Ignite is a good start, but Ogre Magi has no real way to clear them himself. He can use Fireblast for a reliable stun on Broodmother, and a lucky Multicast can be a problem if she gets caught out. But she's so mobile in her webs that landing a kill is difficult, and her spiders will keep chewing on whatever's nearby. Ogre has tools that can annoy Broodmother, but they aren’t a complete solution to the pressure she creates.

The matchup often comes down to which team can better support their hero. If Ogre Magi has allies with strong area damage, his lockdown creates real kill threat on Broodmother. Without that follow-up, he’s mostly a nuisance who can't stop her from farming his side of the map and taking towers. Broodmother wants to avoid fighting Ogre's team directly and instead force reactions, creating space while her army gets too big to handle. It's a standoff that either side can break with the right draft.
