Broodmother vs Pudge

How this matchup plays

Controlling Broodmother’s map pressure is a mixed bag for Pudge. His kit seems built for the job; Rot provides constant area damage to clear out spiderlings, while a successful Meat Hook into Dismember is a guaranteed kill on the real hero. The challenge for Pudge is that Broodmother's own spider army acts as a living shield, making it very hard to land that critical hook. He’s often forced to burn his spell on a spiderling or wait for a perfect opening that may never come, creating a fundamental standoff between them.

This dynamic leads to a cat-and-mouse game across the map. A successful Pudge finds angles to isolate and pull Broodmother from her webs, which opens up the map for his team. If he can't connect, however, Broodmother is free to execute her own game plan of pushing towers and farming the enemy jungle. She can use her webs for vision and mobility to play around his position entirely. The matchup usually comes down to which hero better anticipates the other's movements and lands the first decisive blow.
