How this matchup plays

Getting hit with Doom's ultimate is a problem for any hero, but Centaur Warrunner handles it better than most. He's not reliant on complex passives or escape spells to function; his entire game is built around a massive health pool. He can often survive the duration by simply being too tough to kill. On the other hand, Doom's ability to completely disable Stampede and Retaliate removes Centaur's teamfight impact. It turns him from a disruptive initiator into a silent, walking target if his team can't peel for him, neutralizing his biggest strengths.

The matchup often comes down to timing and initiation. A well-timed Stampede from Centaur can start a fight on his terms before Doom can find a clean ultimate. Conversely, if Doom gets the jump, he can neutralize Centaur and create a huge opening for his own team to collapse.
