Centaur Warrunner vs Luna

How this matchup plays

Taking objectives off the map becomes a race for Centaur Warrunner's team. Luna can clear waves and jungle camps extremely fast with Moon Glaives, accelerating her item progression and forcing reactions. Centaur’s job is to find her before she gets out of control, using Blink and Hoof Stomp to lock her down for his team. This is a risky proposition, though. Luna's high base movement speed can help her kite, and a poorly executed gank can be turned around completely by a well-timed Eclipse, which can melt an initiator who gets too close.

The mid-game usually comes down to which hero dictates the pace. If Centaur Warrunner can successfully lead charges with Stampede and land his stuns on Luna, his team can shut her down and control the map. But if Luna's team provides vision and protection, she can safely farm her core items. Once she's strong, her physical damage output combined with her ultimate becomes too much for Centaur to handle on his own, letting her systematically take over the game by winning teamfights and claiming buildings.
