Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Centaur Warrunner wins the Centaur Warrunner vs Lycan matchup: Centaur Warrunner beats Lycan in 50.83% of 4,604 ranked matches.
Running at the enemy team with Shapeshift can be a real problem, but Centaur Warrunner offers a solid response. A well-timed Hoof Stomp locks down Lycan and his summons, giving your team a window to burst him down. Retaliate also punishes the whole wolf pack for attacking anyone. The dynamic is interesting because these two heroes often work well together; Stampede and Shapeshift make for a terrifying initiation. When they're on opposite sides, it often comes down to who uses their ultimate more effectively. Centaur can use Stampede to save a target from Lycan, but Lycan can also use his speed to bait out the cooldown and re-engage. The fight can easily go either way depending on who gets the jump.
