Any fight Centaur starts with his ultimate can be instantly joined by Spectre using Haunt, turning a potential gank into an easy cleanup for her team. This dynamic turns Centaur's proactive plays into a delivery service for Spectre's farm and kill-streak. In a direct confrontation, Centaur’s huge health pool doesn't matter much. Spectre’s damage from Dispersion and Desolate is designed to wear down durable heroes, especially if she can catch him isolated even for a moment.

The game becomes a race against the clock for Centaur Warrunner. He and his team have to secure a lead and end the game before Spectre gets her key items. However, every attempt to force a fight or take an objective is a risk, as it invites a counter-attack from Haunt. As the game drags on, Centaur’s role becomes increasingly difficult.
