Stomping into a fight against Venomancer often feels like a trade, which keeps this matchup close. Centaur Warrunner excels at initiating with Blink Dagger and Hoof Stomp, and a squishy hero like Venomancer is a prime target. The problem is that even if the initiation is successful, Venomancer will almost certainly get his spells off. A well-placed Poison Nova can coat Centaur's entire team as they try to follow up on his Stampede.
