Clinkz vs Death Prophet

How this matchup plays

Controlling the map and tempo is difficult for Death Prophet when a Clinkz is hunting her. Her whole game plan revolves around surviving long enough to use Exorcism and Spirit Siphon in a teamfight, but Clinkz specializes in bursting a single target from invisibility before they can react. Death Prophet is naturally slow and lacks an escape mechanism, making her an ideal target for a gank from Skeleton Walk. Even if she gets her Silence off, Clinkz can often apply his damage from a distance or with items that lock her down first, rendering her ultimate useless as she dies before its ghosts can do any real work.

This dynamic forces Death Prophet to play from behind. Clinkz can constantly pressure the lanes she wants to farm, keeping her poor and underleveled. Her team is then forced to either babysit her, sacrificing space elsewhere, or risk her getting picked off before a crucial objective fight. While she can buy items like a Ghost Scepter for defense, Clinkz can adapt by either waiting it out or simply killing one of her teammates instead. He dictates the pace of engagement, and that pace is usually far too fast for Death Prophet to handle.
